Learn about TechHive, the Lawrence Hall of Science's YOUmedia Learning Lab, from a teen, a facilitator, and site director. They spoke about their teen Robot Petting Zoo Makeathon (http://www.techhivestudio.org/makeathon/). The Makeathon, which happened in May 2015, was a teen-driven and teen-led alternative to a hackathon, and included developing an Indiegogo campaign to raise funds for the event.
